Giselle Boeters performed Rachmaninoff's Prélude op. 23 nr. 4 (originally written for piano) during the 6th Sesc International Music Festival in Pelotas, RS, Brazil, 18-29 January, 2016. Short biography of Giselle Boeters Principal harpist of Orquestra Filarmônica de Minas Gerais since 2012, Giselle graduated at the Amsterdam Conservatorium (master) and at the “Hanns Eisler” Music Academy (Konzertexamen). She was a member at the Orchestra Academy of the Staatskapelle Berlin. She has played as a soloist in several orchestras, among them: Amsterdam Conservatorium Symphonic Orchestra, Dutch Youth String Orchestra, Brandenburg Symphonic, Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra, and Taipei Symphonic Orchestra.
